Designing how India's Gen Z finance should look

FamApp was built for a younger crowd, roughly 12 to 17. The design showed it: bright clashing colors, bold type, gamification everywhere. It worked beautifully for kids. But our next audience, Gen Z, wanted something that felt more like them, and the old look just did not speak their language.

This is the story of how our design team found our way to a new one. We called our theme "Rebel: clean vandalism.
